In our previous article, we didn't see much performance hit from the limited weather testing we did. Here we can see that it certainly does make a difference and we actually got lucky with the weather effect we previously tested (Harvest). Looking at the graph, we can see that some weather effects have minimal impact while others provide a small degree of framerate drop. One weather effect seemed to have the biggest impact and it was Sirocco. By simply adding this weather effect, we negatively impacted our game performance by 13%.

Seeing how our GPU tested (RX 580 8GB) is rather powerful for 1080p, we wanted to test this with a weaker GPU or iGPU. We decided to perform some additional testing with Intel's built-in GPU on the i7-6700k.
